Room Resource

A room is a channel within a space. Rooms can be text channels, voice channels, or categories that group other rooms.

Room Types

3	Category	A grouping container for rooms

Room Object

Field	Type	Description
`id`	`string`	The room's UUID (v7, time-ordered)
`space_id`	`string?`	The UUID of the parent space (null for DM rooms)
`parent_id`	`string?`	The UUID of the parent category (null if top-level)
`type`	`integer`	The room type (1 = text, 2 = voice, 3 = category)
`name`	`string`	The name of the room
`description`	`string?`	The room's topic or description
`position`	`integer`	Sorting position within its parent
`nsfw`	`boolean`	Whether the room is marked as NSFW
`created_at`	`ISO 8601`	When the room was created
`updated_at`	`ISO 8601`	When the room was last updated
`deleted_at`	`string?`	ISO 8601 soft-delete timestamp

Categories only support name and position changes. Fields like description, parent_id, and permission overwrites are ignored for categories.
